{Leseplanung} Herbst 2018 – es ist Zeit für Fantasy & Mystery

Die Tage werden kürzer, die Temperaturen sind endlich wieder im erträglichen Bereich und die Blätter an den Bäumen färben sich bunt  – das kann nur eines bedeuten: Der Herbst steht vor der Tür. Und weil es nichts besseres gibt, als so manchen verregneten Tag mit Tee/Kakao und Buch im Bett zu verbringen, wird es natürlich Zeit für eine neue Leseliste für den Herbst 2018. Welche Bücher darauf stehen, seht ihr jetzt.

Die ganz große Herbstliebe

Ohne Frage ist der Herbst meine liebste Jahreszeit. Für mich gibt es nichts schöneres, als durch bunte Laubhaufen zu spazieren, um den Kopf frei zu bekommen. Ich bin ein Herbstkind, solange ich denken kann – vermutlich auch, weil ich im Herbst Geburtstag habe und damit zahlreiche Erinnerungen verbinde.

Auch, was meine Lesegewohnheiten angeht, ist der Herbst mein Favorit. Wenn ich mir meine Leselisten aus den letzten Jahren anschaue, sind vor allem der Oktober und November immer die stärksten Lesemonate (so zum Beispiel auch im letzten Jahr). Das liegt sicher auch daran, dass verregnete Herbsttage geradezu dazu einladen, sie mit einer großen Kanne Tee und einem guten Buch auf der Couch oder im Bett zu  verbringen

Genau das ist auch für dieses Jahr mein Plan. Dass ich im September auch noch zwei Wochen Urlaub habe, dürfte hoffentlich auch dafür sorgen, dass einiges an Lesezeit zusammenkommt. Um mich ein bisschen bei der Buchauswahl zu inspirieren, habe ich mir zehn Bücher aus dem SuB ausgesucht, die ich in den nächsten drei Monaten lesen möchte.

Fantasy und Mystery: Diese 10 Bücher stehen auf der Leseliste

Dass Fantasy schon seit Jahren mein Lieblingsgerne ist, ist kein Geheimnis. So ist es wenig verwunderlich, dass mein SuB vor allem aus Fantasy-Romanen aus allen Bereichen besteht. Ich finde aber, dass Fantasy auch ganz hervorragend in den Herbst passt, denn was ist besser, als unter der Lieblingsdecke eingekuschelt dem Regen draußen zu lauschen und die Fantasy-Helden auf eine epische Reise zu begleiten?

Deswegen ist natürlich auch meine Leseplanung für den Herbst 2018 ein wenig Fantasy-lastig. Für ein bisschen Abwechslung sorgen aber auch einige, nennen wir sie mal großzügig Mystery-Bücher, auf die ich mich sehr freue. Doch welche Bücher sind nun dabei?

1. Tomi Adeyemi – Children of Blood and Bone

2. Stephanie Garber – Caraval

4. Deborah Harkness – A Discovery of Witches

5. Mackenzie Lee – The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue

6. Mackenzie Lee – This Monstrous Thing

7. Karen M. McManus – One of Us Is Lying

9. Mary Shelley – Matilda

10. Donna Tart – The Secret History

Das sind sie also – die zehn Bücher, die ich in den nächsten Monaten gern lesen möchte. Beim Zusammenstellen der Liste hat es mich auf jeden Fall schon in den Fingern gejuckt, es mir jetzt sofort mit einem der Bücher auf der Couch bequem zu machen. In diesem Sinne: Auf geht’s!
